Okay, I’m going to explain this very carefully…

David Duke is a felon.
Felons are prohibited from holding federal office.
The vice presidency is a federal office.
Therefore, David Duke is prohibited from holding the vice presidency.

Furthermore, if David Duke did, by some wild quirk, become John McCain’s running mate, there is no possible way they would win, and the Republican party would be pretty well destroyed.

Regardless, what Duke does is largely irrelevant, especially since the world is becoming more and more hostile to his positions. Sorry to break it to you.
